"Felecia's poetry always seems to express exactly some of the emotions of making it through every-day life. 'Working My Nerves' (from Through My Eyes Poetry Book) is one of my favorites. We all know someone like this. This poem gives a different perspective on how to deal with this person in a much more positive manner."

Just Sitting Here

"Just Sitting Here Thinking" is Felecia's second booklet of poetry. It is a work from her heart, evident in her writing. As usual this book of poems is down to earth, witty and heart warming. If you haven't picked up a copy of one of her booklets yet, now is the time. Visit the Poetry Gift Shop for More Info

"You did it again, Felecia! I am always inspired by your humor and just plain common sense poetry. I especially enjoyed 'I Thank You, Lord!', the romantic poem that expressed just the way I feel about my Sweetheart 'Let Others Wonder Why' and of course 'Ms. Jessie Mae' Keep the flow going!

Through My Eyes

"Through My Eyes" is my first book of poetry. It is a compilation of different poems I have written over the years. Some are very recent. I share with the reader my view on things that I see everyday. My relationship with God is first and foremost, always. I share some insight on that through some of my poems. Then I take a look at daily life, family and friends. I even incorporate a little humor into it. Whether you share my views or not, I hope you will enjoy reading the book and take away something memorable with you. More Info

Think Positive

I know it’s your prerogative.
But why are you so negative.
You whine and complain in every situation.

You seem to overlook the good,
Or perhaps you’re just misunderstood.
Maybe you just need some motivation.

Just take a minute and look around.
There’s so much good that can be found.
Think positive and use your imagination.

Cause if you dwell upon the bad,
You’ll miss the good life you might have had
Before it’s time for your elimination.

Sharing God's gift - Through My Eyes

Never Alone

How awesome is it to feel such comfort
From someone never seen?
Such a serene and calming peace,
Surely you know what I mean?

I hope by now you’ve had the chance to
Experience it in your life.
That feeling of being protected when
The world brings toil and strife.

It would be great if all of our days
Were happy and carefree.
Unfortunately there are times for tears
But, He’s there when we need Him to be.

Felecia has a wonderful gift from God! She has framed poetry for my family and friends and we all loved it. She’s magic… well at least it seems that way. She knows the right words to say and in the perfect order to say them.

As long as we walk on the earth
We’ll all face pain and sorrow.
Just keep your faith and hear His voice.
He’ll guide you through tomorrow.

I never for one moment doubt
The love God has for me.
The proof is there time after time
In each new day I see.

Just stop and take a look around.
You’re blind if you don’t see.
And remember, my friend, that you’re
Only alone when it’s you who choose to be.
